The 6th UWIN Best Paper Award on Gender Economics is open. The competition is aimed at all young economists and researchers from the 17 countries belonging to the geographical area of UniCredit. The two best papers will receive €5,000 gross each and will be published in the Working Paper series of UniCredit & Universities Foundation.

Intersection at official opening of Parliamentary Week
On Friday, 16 October 2015, Maja Gojkovic, the president of the National Parliament, officially opened Parliamentary Week, in the presence of the media and invited guests. Key note speakers were British Ambassador Denis Keefe, as well as Deputy Chief of Mission of the US Embassy in Serbia Gordon Duguid and Vukosava Crnjanski, director of the Center for Research, Transparency and Accountability (CRTA). Representative of Intersection, one of the project partners, was Tamara Drecun, member of the Management Board.

Intersection participated at the Science Festival “Open Days of Science 2015” in September this year. Olivera Cacic Milutinovic, member of Intersection Management Board, was invited as the special guest of the Ministry of Science in Montenegro, continuing long-term cooperation in science promotion.

COST genderSTE capacity building workshop was held in Nicosia, Cyprus on June 16, 2015. COST genderSTE action is focused on gender issues in science, technology and environment. Intersection was invited to support local representatives from Cyprus, together with experts from Slovenia, Czech Republic, Great Britain and Sweden.
Intersection at Ecsite Annual Conference 2015 in Trento, Italy
The 2015 Ecsite Annual Conference took place in Trento, Italy, on 11-13 June. It gathered 1.101 participants from 52 different countries, making it the largest Ecsite Annual Conference ever. The appetizing title “Food for curious minds” successfully illustrated the creativity, positive energy and fresh ideas shared during the event hosted by MUSE. Intersection took part in different streams of activities.
